Witnesses were interviewed and Officers located the 4 juveniles and interviewed them as well. There was no gun located.
No active threats were ever determined.
The school is dealing administratively with all students involved.
The principal at SHS has cancelled the basketball game scheduled for this evening only due to fear by the parents and students caused by the social media frenzy. It was not cancelled due to any safety concerns. As the safety of all students is our primary concern, the Police Department and the School Administration will continue to monitor the situation.
