The Mississippi Senate and House cannot seem to come to terms on appropriations for the Mississippi Department of Transportation. This is going to cause Governor Bryant to have to call a special legislative session so funding can be determined. There has been a considerable amount of debate this year about the condition of Mississippi’s roads, bridges and infrastructure. As with many other areas in state government this legislative session, we will have to wait and see just how this is going to pan out. You can read the news report below for more details.
