Update from Mississippi’s Speaker of the House, Philip Gunn. The House has passed a bill today that would replace the current M-Star evaluations for teachers with an evaluation system to be determined by their district. Teachers, how do you feel about this?
It’s funny how much things have changed in four years. Four years ago, I remember writing about Common Core, M-Star evaluations and state testing, and people thought I had no clue what I was talking about. Now, we have bills to do away with Common Core, M-Star and that limit state testing. I am truly proud of how much progress we have made. I just pray that this bill makes it to the governor.
