For many schools, educators, parents and students, state testing has become an incredibly taxing, time-consuming and stressful event each year. Most research shows that testing for many days or longer times is of no benefit to students.
Now, the Mississippi House has passed HB 866 which would limit the number of state testing days to three. Let’s all pray that this bill makes it way through the legislature and to the governor for signing. Thank you to MS House Pro Tempore, Greg Snowden, for the update on this bill.
