Bryant started his talk to a well-populated group of business leaders at the Landers Center by noting the surge in population that has brought Southaven to become the third-largest city in the state of Mississippi.
“If you look at a state of three-million people, that’s quite an accomplishment for what used to be a small suburb of Memphis,” Bryant said. “You’re doing very good, Southaven, you ought to be proud of yourself.”
He then expressed his interest to be on hand in November when the Tanger Outlets mall in Southaven officially opens and adds as many as 1,000 jobs to the local workforce.
