The manhunt is over for the man accused of kidnapping and murdering two people. He was killed by Missouri police yesterday.
Southaven Police joined a national manhunt for James Horn, a repeat sex offender from Memphis, who was wanted in the death of a 47-year-old Sedalia, Mo. woman and her 17-year-old son.
Horn’s ex-wife and son are still living in Southaven, and Little said authorities weren’t taking any chances.
Southaven Police had issued a Be On the Lookout or BOLO alert for Horn, and were taking every precaution to make sure they kept his ex-wife and 18-year-old son safe while he remained on the loose.
Horn’s criminal background included torture, rape and kidnapping.
